A new database and submission system has been introduced for music festivals in the UK

The Gig Guide database of bands, recording studios and all other music related services has been updated with new features and the administration system has also had a complete overhaul.

A new GIG database is the next project to provide a more user friendly upload facility and a large increase in the number of gigs listed.

GIG LISTING CHANGE
The Gig database is now updated regularly on Thursday evening each week.
Bands and venues continue to include their gig details on a regular basis throughout the week.

March 2009
The main advertisement database will be upgraded over the next 3 months to include new features for all listings.

February 2009
During the first half of 2009 the Gig Database will be updated to receive RSS feeds
The anticipated number of searchable gigs in the UK is expected to rise from over 2000 per month to over 6,000 per month with additional listings being made available at a later date
